A Maryland woman has obviously just hit her “breaking point” because she did something completely crazy that went mega-viral…but not in a good “crazy” way…it was in a psychotic crazy way.
She lit fire to a house while someone was inside and then got a lawn chair and watched it burn.
The woman was charged with attempted murder, arson, and assault after witnesses said they saw her set a house on fire while a person was trapped in the basement.
The person in the basement luckily escaped.
The woman’s name is Gail J. Metwally and she’s reportedly 47-years-old.
Authorities say that she set multiple fires inside the home and then watched the home burn while she sat in a chair on the lawn.
The video of her watching the fire burn has gone mega-viral.
You can watch the video below:
NBC reports that in a Snapchat video that was verified by NBC News, a bystander recorded Metwally in what appears to be an argument with a man and a woman at the home.
After flames appear inside the home, and for multiple clips of the Snapchat video, Metwally appears to be sitting on a lawn chair and reading a book as the fire grows.
The fire marshal said bystanders helped a person who was trapped in the home and confirmed that a “total of 4 people resided in the home, including Metwally.”
